Tingkat Religiositas Seorang Muslim dan Kepemilikan Asuransi Kesehatan Swasta: Analisis Data IFLS

Abstract


Asuransi kesehatan merupakan salah satu instrumen yang penting dalam menjaga kesehatan. Namun, di Indonesia hanya 0,76% yang menggunakan asuransi kesehatan swasta dari total seluruh penduduk yang memiliki asuransi. Beberapa penelitian telah melihat faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi seseorang untuk memiliki asuransi, salah satunya faktor religiositas. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara tingkat religiositas dengan kepemilikan asuransi kesehatan swasta. Data yang digunakan adalah IFLS gelombang ke-4 (2007) dan gelombang ke-5 (2014). Dengan menggunakan regresi probit, hasil menunjukkan jika tingkat religiositas seseorang berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kepemilikan asuransi kesehatan swasta, yang berarti probabilitas untuk memiliki asuransi kesehatan swasta lebih kecil jika seseorang lebih taat dalam beragama.
